For switching between windows of the same app, use &quot;Apple-&lt;&quot;. Also, there is a &quot;Show all windows from current app&quot; action that you can bind to a screen corner.

For a simple text editor, I use Smultron.

Regarding fink... I use it occasionally, but don&#039;t enjoy it too much.</description>
